Research Notes
The Visitation of Yorkshire in 1563-4 records her second husband as Sir John Melton, the son of John Melton and Margery, the daughter of Lord Fitzhugh.[15] He died in 1510/11 (36 Henry VIII).[16] She is the wrong age to have married Sir John Melton's grandfather, Sir John Melton, 7th Lord Lucy, who was born in about 1415.
